Built for imaging in clinical trials
Hej! We are Collective Minds.
We are a centralized imaging platform for clinical trials. We take the friction out of how imaging data moves between sites, sponsors and CROs, without cutting a single scientific corner.
Behind the platform is a team of imaging and clinical research specialists in Sweden, Spain and the UK. We started in Stockholm in 2017, and we are still working on the same goal as we started with: less friction, stronger evidence.
Our Mission
We connect hospitals, scientists and clinicians so that reliable evidence gets built faster.
Medical imaging knowledge should be easier to share than it is today. When it moves freely between the people who need it, patients get better answers sooner. That is the reason we come to work.
How we work
Our vision is to become the world's largest community and platform for professional healthcare collaboration, transforming clinical research through cloud-native technology, expert imaging intelligence, and secure, centralized workflows.
Three things shape how we build and how we run studies.
-
We connect sites directly: Hospitals, academia and industry work on one platform. We do the technical and legal groundwork so a site can join without turning it into a project of its own. Sites onboard in days, not months.
-
We build for speed: Cloud infrastructure, fast trial setup, and automated imaging data flow from site to sponsor. Imaging data becomes available in minutes instead of days.
-
We keep imaging expertise close: Expert imaging support and full traceability sit inside the process, not beside it. Quality issues are caught in real time, while the scan can still be repeated.
What we care about
Innovation: We would rather make something a little better every week than promise something enormous once a year.
Education: Radiologists and researchers use the platform to teach and to learn. Many of our 30 000+ imaging experts are here to share cases, not only to run trials.
Global Impact: We work with partners such as World Wide Radiology to widen access to diagnostic imaging. 300+ connected sites in 30+ countries so far.
How we got here
2017
2017 – Founded in Stockholm
Four of us started the company to break down data silos in medical imaging. Easy to describe, harder to solve.
2019
2019 – The platform goes live
.Secure, centralized viewing of DICOM images, available to anyone we could connect.
2021
2021 – European Research Consortia
Selected for two Horizon 2020 projects, EUCanImage and PancAim, handling radiology and genomic data.
2022
2022 – Into Clinical Trials
We formalized our clinical trial imaging services and opened up in the UK market.
2024
2024 – A community, not just a platform
More than 20,000 healthcare professionals and 170+ hospitals and providers collaborating and working together on the platform.
2025
2025 – Multicenter adoption
Multicenter trials and long-term work with academic medical centers, including Amsterdam UMC.
2026
2026 – Centralized Leadership
Partnerships with medical societies including the SAR, and a growing role in Phase III, imaging-driven trials.
