Will important DICOM technical parameters remain?

Online Demo: Non-identifying technical parameters are retained to help you judge diagnostic/research suitability.
Enterprise: Retention of technical metadata is configurable so you can preserve clinically/research-relevant parameters while masking identifiers. Find the acceptable balance between the required level of data quality for your clinical/research purposes and the required level of confidentiality/privacy.

Who is responsible for uploaded data, and what are the data roles?

Online Demo: You are responsible for any data you upload. You must have a lawful basis/authorization (e.g., GDPR Arts. 6 and 9 where applicable; HIPAA where applicable). For the demo, Collective Minds does not act as your data processor/Business Associate.
Enterprise: Roles are defined by contract. Collective Minds can act as your data processor (GDPR) / Business Associate (HIPAA) under a DPA/BAA, with agreed purposes, instructions, and safeguards.

What is the data deletion/retention behavior?

Online Demo: Uploads and resulting outputs are automatically deleted within 60 minutes after processing; you can also delete immediately after download. No secondary use or model training. Minimal technical logs may be retained for security/operations.
Enterprise: Configurable retention according to your policies. Data handling (storage, deletion, backups, logs) is governed by the contract/DPA/BAA.

Can I use real patient data?

Demo: Strongly recommended to use privacy- and confidentiality-cleared sample cases. If you upload your own files, you must ensure a lawful basis/authorization and compliance with your internal policies.
Enterprise: Yes, within your agreed legal basis and under the DPA/BAA and security/operational controls.

Is this suitable for clinical use?

Online Demo: No. This tool is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making.
Enterprise: May be integrated into clinical/research workflows subject to your organization’s validation, risk assessment, and regulatory obligations; confirm your intended use.

Where is data processed and stored? Do you support data residency?

Online Demo: Temporary processing for evaluation; automatic deletion within 60 minutes. Infrastructure locations may be limited for the demo.
Enterprise: Regional hosting/data residency options can be provided per contract (e.g., EU/EEA). International transfers are handled with appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) as set out in the DPA.

Do you use sub processors or third-party infrastructure?

Online Demo: Only AWS (Germany - Frankfurt) as infrastructure provider. No content sub processors for uploaded files beyond essential infrastructure; minimal technical logs may be handled by infrastructure providers under safeguards.
Enterprise: Only AWS (Germany - Frankfurt) as infrastructure provider. Sub processors (if any) and their purposes are disclosed in the DPA/BAA, with appropriate contractual and security controls.

What security controls are in place?

Online Demo: Security appropriate for a limited, short-lived evaluation workflow; no SLA or custom security commitments.
Enterprise: Enterprise-grade security controls, documentation, and due diligence available under NDA (e.g., encryption, access controls, auditability). Details and assurances are provided in the DPA/BAA and security package.
