Platform Integration
Connected by design
Connect is the DICOM gateway into your Collective Minds workspaces. Whether you're running a clinical trial, a research study, or an education programme, imaging data flows automatically from your PACS into the right project — without manual exports or file transfers.
How Collective Minds Connect works:
-
Push Data from PACS: Send DICOM images from your Scanner or PACS, manually or via automation, directly to Connect, all within your secure hospital network.
-
Transform & Pseudonymize: Imaging data is processed locally and de-identified, anonymized, and/or pseudonymized using rules you control.
-
Transfer to project: Once transformed, the data is securely transmitted to your designated Collective Minds platform project, data lake, collaboration area, or education collection.
-
Monitor & Control: Track all transfers and system health in real-time with detailed logs and metrics, providing full visibility and control over your data pipeline.
Seamless Integration to your PACS
Collective Minds Connect, seamlessly integrates your hospital or local systems to enable automatic sharing of DICOM studies. The platform ensures that all data is securely de-identified and pseudonymized before it leaves your local environment, facilitating quicker and easier data sharing while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.
Hidden Bottlenecks in Manual DICOM Transfer
Getting medical imaging data from scanners into research environments remains a major bottleneck in research workflows.
This critical first step is outdated and inefficient. Hospitals and research institutions waste significant time and resources as PACS administrators, nurses, and research assistants spend weeks or months manually selecting, preparing, anonymizing, and uploading large imaging datasets for each project.
This manual data transfer process ties up highly skilled professionals on repetitive tasks, delays research, increases costs, and diverts focus from core research activities. Despite dramatic advances in imaging technology, the transfer of imaging data to research has not evolved, creating a persistent, often unacknowledged bottleneck in medical imaging research.
A Smarter DICOM Gateway for Clinical Trials & Research
Connect is a secure edge gateway that automates the transfer of medical imaging data from your Scanner or PACS into your Collective Minds projects.
Instead of exporting, de-identifying, pseudonymizing, and uploading DICOM files manually, Connect handles the entire process for you, within the hospital network.
Whether you’re running a single-site investigator study or coordinating imaging data across multiple centers, Connect makes large-scale data transfer effortless, compliant, and reliable. Getting the data to where it needs to go with just a few clicks.
The system was very easy to use. Everything went really smoothly.
